Shentel hosts
Business During Hours

Business During Hours for the month of April was hosted by Shentel and
held on Wednesday, April 13 in the meeting room at the Country Inn &
Suites.
Karen Cherry, Administrative Assistant of the Summerville Area Chamber
of Commerce, welcomed guests and thanked Shentel for hosting this
great networking opportunity for members. She then invited members to
introduce themselves and to make any announcements about upcoming
events or opportunities pertaining to their business or organization.
Representatives from Shentel spoke to the membership about the
services offered by Shentel to the region, noting that Shentel
delivers a broad range of advanced telecommunications to many areas in
WV and the Shenandoah Valley. Services offered include phone,
state-of-the-art cable, and Internet Service. Shentel is also known
for its superb customer service.

Lunch was provided and a door prize was awarded to
Ken Altizer. Members attending included representatives from AT&T, US
Cellular, Shentel, Comfort Inn & Suites, Ferguson Management Services,
Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council, Summit Media Radio, WSWW FM,
Papa John’s Pizza, Gauley River Physical Therapy, The Nicholas
Chronicle, Nicholas County Senior Center, Mountaineer Physical
Therapy, Mid State Ford Mercury, United Bank, Community Bank Trust,
New River Community & Technical College, Ken Altizer, and Chameleon
Health Care.
May’s Business During Hours will be hosted by the City of
Summersville.
