Chamber of Commerce Hosts Annual Pancake Breakfast

The Summersville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a pancake breakfast
at Applebee’s Restaurant on Saturday, June 25 from 8am-10am. The
proceeds of the breakfast will benefit the Chamber’s Education Fund,
which helps to sponsor two educational meetings a year for the
membership, as well as many educational programs for the youth. Some
of those programs include the Summer Reading Program for elementary
students and the Entrepreneurial Leadership Program for high school
students. In addition, the Chamber also awards a scholarship to a
graduating high school student.
