The Summersville Area Chamber of Commerce will partner with The Nicholas Chronicle to sponsor a Summers Reading Challenge for elementary students grades K-5. The students will be challenged to read a chapter a week of a serial story published in The Chronicle. Game boards will be published with the story the first two weeks. Each week students will cut out an icon attached to the story and paste it onto the game board. At the end of the series, the students will return the game boards to The Chronicle office and receive prizes.
